Accessibility

We strive to be as accessible as possible, but please note that we have limited disabled access at Golf Tavern.

  • The ground floor is accessible, though there is a small single step at the main entrance. Unfortunately, we do not have a wheelchair ramp at this time.

  • A disabled toilet is available on the ground floor.

  • Please be aware that there is no lift access to the upstairs function room, which may be a consideration for those with mobility needs.
    If you have any specific accessibility questions or would like assistance during your visit, please feel free to contact us in advance — we’re happy to help where we can.

We always keep a number of spaces available for walk-ins, so feel free to stop by anytime! Whether you’re looking to book a last-minute appointment or simply prefer to walk in, we’re happy to accommodate you whenever possible.
 
Please note that walk-in availability is on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving early to secure your spot. We look forward to seeing you!

We’re happy to welcome families at Golf Tavern, and we do our best to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. Please note the following guidelines regarding children and young persons:

  • Children (aged 15 and under) are welcome in the venue until 8:00 PM, or until they have finished their meal if dining with us.

  • Young persons (aged 16 and 17) may stay until 10:00 PM.

  • All guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on the premises.

  • Under-18s are not permitted to sit or stand at the bar servery area.

  • After 8:00 PM, all under-18s must remain downstairs in the main bar and dining area.

For private functions held upstairs, under-18s are allowed to remain in the function room until 10:00 PM, provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult.

We don’t have on-site parking at Golf Tavern, but convenient public parking is available nearby.
We recommend JustPark | Car Park at Spittal Street Lane, which is only a short walk from the venue.
You can pre-book a spot online through the JustPark app or website for added convenience.
Yes — we’re a dog-friendly venue!
Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside the main bar area. We just ask that they remain on a lead and are respectful of other guests. Water bowls are available — and we might even have a treat or two behind the bar!
