What a boozer, filled with great people and great scran. Was served by a guy called Myles on the bar, what a legend. We had such a laugh I found it boring going and hanging out with my current pals! Haha (shh)

Such a nice bar to visit when you’re in the city, good big screens and great selection on draft. Bar staff are all so sound but it’s always great to see Myles again, always looks after me and my mates and is so attentive and just all round good patter. See you next time

I attended a PDR tonight at the golf tavern, and came away extremely impressed with my experience!! The upstairs bar is a great venue for holding functions; it is spacious enough to host a decent-sized party, and yet the cosy seating (sofas etc.), table areas and opportunity to play darts/pool also imbues the space with an intimate and friendly atmosphere. They have an impressive range of drinks on offer, and the student deals they provide were extremely popular with the younger members of the party.

I visited the golf tavern several times during my stay in Edinburgh over the fringe period. A jovial atmosphere, special shout-out to myles with whom I formed a great rapport. Keep up the great work, guys!

Had a great day out in Edinburgh thanks to our stop off at the Golf Tavern. Great service from our lovely host Kyle who recommended some great local whisky and some great items on their food menu. Highly recommend for anyone staying in the Bruntsfield area!!

I went to the golf tavern on Saturday and was served by the wonderful young gentleman Ben. He poured the best Guinness I’ve ever seen. Will be back, highly recommend. Would highly suggest it to my fellow golf loving Americans, definitely worth the visit.
